Chris Hock is the visionary founder and president of Earth Saving Solutions, a licensed general contractor he established in 2008 after recognizing the need for a construction company that delivered exceptional quality while maintaining a deep commitment to client relationships and community service.
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Chris began his journey in the early 2000s working in drywall and handyman services before founding Po’Boy Painters in 2005. His entrepreneurial spirit and vision to create “something more” led to the establishment of Earth Saving Solutions, which has since grown from humble beginnings to become one of Denver’s most trusted names in commercial construction, remodeling, and restoration.
Chris built ESS as a family business, bringing on his mother, brother Michael, and key team members like Jamin Katzer early in the company’s development. Under his leadership, ESS has expanded its services to include commercial construction for national brands like Walmart, Circle K, and Xfinity, while maintaining a strong commitment to residential construction and disaster restoration.
Known for his dedication to veteran causes and community involvement, Chris has spearheaded numerous charitable projects, including the Pat Smith Project, which provided a complete home renovation for an 82-year-old Vietnam veteran after his home was damaged by a fallen tree. This commitment to giving back reflects Chris’s core philosophy: “It’s not just about the job. It’s about the people.”
Chris takes pride in positioning ESS as a “True General Contractor” that manages projects from start to finish, offering clients a single point of contact for all their construction needs. His leadership style emphasizes initiative, responsibility, and helping others grow, while his business approach focuses on building value for clients in everything the company does.
Through Chris’s vision and dedication, Earth Saving Solutions continues to grow its reputation for excellence in construction, restoration, and community service across Colorado and beyond.
